Admissions Process

UCHA attracts a variety of students – from working professionals seeking a massage therapy diploma or a Hellerwork SI diploma to individuals driven to earn a college degree in our Associate of Science program they have always desired. If this sounds like you, then take the next step.  We realize that pursuing a college degree is a life-changing decision, and we’re here to help. We’ve laid out the steps to complete our college admissions process.


  • We encourage you to speak with an admissions advisor, but first, prepare for the conversation by learning more about UCHA through our website, Facebook page documents, and resources.

Schedule an Admissions Interview

We want to get to know you and your goals. The admissions interview is designed to:

  • Provide what you need to make an informed decision before committing to UCHA.

  • Discover your priorities and determine if we can fulfill your needs as a student.

  • Identify the right program to help you reach your goals.

  • Answer all of your important questions before you apply and enroll.​​

  • The admissions team provides flexibility for morning, evening and weekend interviews. Interviews may be conducted on campus or over the phone.

Apply for Admissions

  • Click "Apply Now" on the program you would like to attend (you will also find links to our programs below), then, simply follow the prompts and fill in the requested information. It’s that easy!

  • You can submit proof of prior education, which may include a high school diploma, an official baccalaureate transcript or an official master’s degree transcript, depending on the degree you’re pursuing right in the application. 

  • Arrange for a tour of the facility if possible or observe ongoing classes if needed. 

  • Applicants for the Massage Therapy Programs who have not received a professional massage will be required to do so.

  • Applicants for the Hellerwork Program will need to complete 3 Structural Integration Series.

  • Complete the Application online. Paper copies can be mailed or obtained at the UCHA office.  Pay a Refundable $50.00 application fee online. For Hellerwork, the application fee is $100.00. 

  • Submit all forms online and then arrange for an interview. There will be an informal meeting where the Admissions Director of the program you have chosen. 

  • Further interviews may be required of an applicant. Applicants may be asked to meet either with additional staff or to interact with a group of applicants /or students. If any major concerns need to be addressed, the applicant may need to meet with health care professionals who can further assess the applicant’s physical, mental, or emotional ability to participate in the program. 

  • Applicants may receive a “challenge” asking them to respond to specific concerns that have surfaced during the screening process. 

  • All forms and results of interviews will be submitted to the Board of Directors for a final decision for acceptance. 

  • You will be notified in writing about your acceptance status. Upon acceptance, you will be given specific instructions for registration.
